Premier farming in The California Terpene Belt
“The California Terpene Belt” is a lesser-known cannabis mecca in the foothills of the Diablo Range. It’s part of The San Joaquin Valley, a highly sought after farming region known as “America’s Breadbasket”. Around 1960, the region became the nexus of a statewide fresh water supply. This developed into The California State Water Project, a water storage and delivery system extending more than 700 miles. Our seed genetics program was created solely for fragrance farming and essential oil production. We start with Type 1 (high-THC cannabis) and breed out the THC, so the end result is a cannabis seed developed to be Type 3 (low-THC cannabis). This means it’s grown as hemp — not cannabis — under the 2018 Farm Bill. These diverse, terpene forward cannabis aromatics can ship anywhere across the globe.
