As the world’s fascination with terpenes grows, we’re finding that people want to learn what makes them magical and understand what it is they are smelling and tasting. Since making our cannabis-derived essential oils (complex terpenes) is similar to winemaking, we’ve launched a cannabis experience similar to a traditional wine tasting.
Enter the “Terpene Tasting” — a first-of-its-kind event, and one that is definitely around to stay.
Recently, we hosted a series of Terpene Tastings at Hall of Flowers, our annual Harvest Party and MJBizCon. From fresh flower to crude oil to smell strips & wafters to vape carts, attendees experienced our oils in diversified, curated forms. Learning about the differences between our 2020 and 2021 vintages and then smelling and tasting the nuances was an incredible adventure for tasters. They could appreciate this season’s oil as amazingly similar to last season’s, yet truly unique.
We couldn’t be happier to see California terroir being understood and appreciated. We’re honored with the opportunity to curate a terpene education experience and we look forward to hosting more in the future.
